Hi there again.
I just wanted to post to let you know more about me and this blog. As of April 26th of this year, I turned 40 years old. Yes, you read right, 4-0! So many people have nicely said, "you don't look 40." But then I wonder what DOES 40 look like? I mean, when I ws 30, I thought 40 was ancient, but time flew by and 40 doesn't look a lot different than 30, except with a few more lines around my eyes from smiling and crying because that's what life is.
Would I ever consider plastic surgery or other "help" with staying young? Maybe. I don't want to rule it out since I won't know until I do it. One area that you can't change much are your hands, neck, and feet unless you get some sort of laser or chemical peel. Ninety-percent of being young is attitude and your health.
My lovely husband and I take a lot of vitamins and eat ok. We're not health nuts, just people who want to feel better longer. Our cholesterol is low, our triglycerides are good and have no obvious joint problems (except for my frozen shoulder syndrome), but I'm prone to tendonitis. I dance at least 3 nights a week and try to exercise while I'm watching TV; however, I don't think I need to go crazy to be stick thin. One of these days I would like to try Weight Watchers though.
As I mentioned in the first post, I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I try to take care of my skin. I can't lie, I also sometimes don't wash my face at night. I'm not a makeup or skincare expert, but sometimes it's easier not to be when you want an honest opinion!

Kris I think you look fabulous at 40! They say 40 is the new 30.. my 40th is quickly approaching and I don't have wrinkles.. I was told the other day that I look 26.. I joked that my kind friend needed glasses! I use Oil of Olay sensitive skin foaming face cloths and Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion.
